Jennifer Tanck, JD
Executive Vice President
Jennifer currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Pensionmark Financial Group, focusing on building out the firm's compliance program and operations, as well as partnering with Pensionmark's affiliate advisors to deliver infrastructure and support services.
Prior to joining Pensionmark, Jennifer served as the Senior Vice President of Client Service Delivery for Aspire Financial Services, an independent recordkeeper, overseeing all of Aspire's Client Service and Operations divisions. While there she was instrumental in implementing a more cohesive client engagement model, using a single-threaded service approach designed to provide a world class client experience in the open-architecture retirement space.
Jennifer also formerly served as President and Chief Compliance Officer of Independent Financial Partners, LPL Financial's largest hybrid RIA firm. She helped to grow the firm's comprehensive network of advisors and retirement and wealth management services, and held several key leadership positions during her tenure there in both Operations and Compliance capacities. Prior to joining IFP, Jennifer served as a registered representative and OSJ Manager for another broker/dealer, and has extensive experience in both Big Four accounting and law firm settings where she has focused on securities, business and tax law.
Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida and graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University College of Law. Mrs. Battle provides retirement plan advisory services to corporate fiduciaries. Laura assists businesses and their employees with structuring efficient 401(k) plans, measuring and monitoring fiduciary liability and providing education tools for participants.
Mrs. Battle is also responsible for advancing Pensionmark’s HR strategy in support of the company’s leadership and growth objectives. In addition, Laura overseas corporate operations, the day-to-day management of the customer service team and is the lead conversion manager.

Marissa Weisberg brings extensive accounting experience to Pensionmark from a vast range of industries including newspaper, real estate, construction development and the nonprofit sector. She has worked in the finance and accounting field since 2002 and has managed and developed accounting departments and teams since 2008. Currently, Marissa is the Corporate Controller for Pensionmark Financial Group, LLC and is a member of the Executive Team where she has an essential role in the management, expansion and growth of the organization.

Ronnie is the Senior Vice President of Investments in the Santa Barbara headquarters of Pensionmark. Ronnie is responsible for the investment manager search process, quarterly client reporting and market reviews, developing analytical tools and reports, and other research projects. In addition, Ronnie chairs Pensionmark’s Investment Committee that sets the strategic policy and direction of a number of broad activities related to the investment services Pensionmark provides.

Taylor joined the Pensionmark team in 2011 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Client Relations. In this role, she oversees the implementation of all retirement plan management systems uniquely designed for Pensionmark’s independent advisors network. Breadth of responsibility includes the onboarding of new advisor affiliates, sustaining high quality corporate and branch relationships; overseeing internal sales desk operations; organizing national conferences, and supporting the expansion and retention of Pensionmark’s services within its national market.
Taylor has a Masters in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics, Accounting with a minor in Technology Management. Taylor is an active member in the Junior League of Santa Barbara and serves on the board the the Finance Council Director. An organization of philanthropic women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Senior Compliance Officer
Barry’s role is focused on helping to build out the firm’s Compliance infrastructure for both broker/dealer and RIA operations, as well as support advisor onboarding and transitions. Additionally, he is involved in areas of branch supervision, new accounts, and advertising review. With 18 total years in the industry and 15 years in Compliance-related roles specifically, Barry’s previous positions have touched nearly every department in a broker/dealer and RIA firm. He served in a senior Compliance capacity at both LPL Financial and Independent Financial Partners, a role where he first met many of the Pensionmark advisors. Most recently, he worked as the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at J.W. In his free time, Barry enjoys spending time with his family, landscaping, carpentry, fishing, flying, and golf.

Bob “Booker” Moore is a leading expert in the field of employee benefits plan design. Ed is head of Asset Strategy Consultant’s Pittsburgh Office and also consults out of the Hunt Valley (Baltimore) Office as well. He brings over two decades of experience in investment consulting and is a nationally recognized author and expert on client/investment manager relationships. Eric A. Ward is a Managing Director at Pensionmark’s Louisville, Kentucky location, and is the owner of Quantum Financial Consultants, LLC. Eric offers over 27 years of expertise in the retirement industry and provides 401(k), investment advisory and wealth management services for individuals. He specializes in assisting companies and organizations with plan provider analysis, plan design, investment selection, and fiduciary liability management. How I Got Here
I started out as an employee benefits consultant for Great-West Financial in 1998, managing group health insurance and retirement plans. As the industry became more specialized, I gravitated to the retirement plan space. For 14 years, I represented Great-West and ING as a Vice President of Retirement Plan Sales. In 2010, I wanted to get back to working with clients, and now am the Managing Director of Pensionmark Financial Group.

I am a wife, mother of two children, swim-team cheerleader, avid skier, traveler searching for the perfect beach, and CU Buffalo and Alpha Chi Omega alumnae. I am also passionate about giving back to my community.

Michael E. Morris, NQPA, CRPS®, C(k)P, is a Managing Director for Pensionmark in the Mid Central regional office. He is responsible for the development and oversight of the institutional consulting business in the retirement plans marketplace for corporate, nonprofit and government plans in the Mid-Central region. Mr. Morris has more than two decades of experience in the retirement plans and institutional investment consulting marketplace. Michael was most recently named to the 2017-2019 editions of the Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Plan Advisers. This list recognizes the top financial advisers who specialize in serving defined contribution (DC) retirement plans. Mr. Morris was also recognized in PLANSPONSOR Magazine’s article “Who The Best Advisors Are.” He also received recognition by the Defined Contribution Plan Institute (DCPI) in 2009-2012 as a “Top 300 Influencer” within the retirement plans marketplace.

Noel J. Trias has over twenty-four years experience in the financial services and benefits industry with primary focus in the corporate benefit trust and retirement plan markets. Along with serving as assistant controller with the Kimpton Group, Noel brings a strong accounting and financial background when consulting with corporate clients.
Noel oversees the Retirement Plan and HRA consulting practices of Benefits Matrix. In 1989, Noel began his financial services career with New England Financial Advisors and began specializing in the qualified and non-qualified plan marketplace. In 1994, he joined Wells Fargo Bank as a business retirement specialist and soon after was promoted to Regional Sales Manager - Institutional Trust. His division was instrumental in solidifying Wells Fargo’s retirement plan and corporate benefit trust presence throughout California, focusing on the small to middle markets. Prior to founding Benefits Matrix, Noel was Regional Vice President with AIG/SunAmerica Retirement Markets responsible for retirement plan sales for the western region of the U.S.
Noel has a degree in accounting from the University of San Diego and earned a M.S. in Financial Services from Golden Gate University in 1990. Sara is Senior Consultant and head of the Raleigh/Durham office of Asset Strategy Consultants. Sara brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services to her endowment, foundation and retirement plan clients.
Prior to joining Asset Strategy in 2002, Sara worked for the investment banking firms of Alex Brown and Sons in Baltimore and Deutsche Bank for nearly 20 years. She spent several years as an Associate Research Analyst for Alex. Brown. Sara’s area of research specialization was in following both hardware and software companies for the firm. She then spent nearly fifteen years as a Partner and Senior Trader in the Over-the-Counter department of the Equity Division.
Sara brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services to her endowment, foundation and retirement plan clients. Sara graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hollins College, where she majored in Economics. Mike Hogan has been in the investment, employee benefits and financial service industry for twenty eight years. From 1987-89 he served as lead employee benefits and financial services representative for Aetna Life and Casualty during the launch of Aetna’s 401(k) platform, “401EZ”, and its Preferred Provider Health Insurance Program, “Aetna Partners”. Tom brings 20 years of financial services experience to Clearview 401k Consultants. Twelve of those years were exclusively focused on 401k plans where he developed his 401K plan design knowledge. Today, his primary focus is providing institutional clients with in-depth analysis of retirement plan investment options and other relevant information to assist them in their fiduciary investment decisions on behalf of plan participants.

Tuyen (Twin) Pham’s insurance and financial services career began with First American in 1989 where he started in the mailroom, working as a file clerk and runner, and even washing company cars for executives.
After receiving his B.S. from Arizona State University and a MBA from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), Tuyen accepted a position with MetLife as a Group Sales Rep. Honing his skills in medical, dental, life and disability insurance is how he earned Rookie of the Year honors; but it was his Pension/401(k) sales knowledge that set his career in motion. He was responsible for the day-to-day servicing and annual compliance of defined contribution plans with assets ranging from $1 - $25 million.
In 2002, after Alliance Benefit Group was purchased by Invesmart, Neil became manager of the Operations department leading a team of 20 employees that were responsible for over 350 plans and $1 billion in assets.
In 2005, Neil became manager of the Software Testing department at Invesmart. He was responsible for managing the testing process of all proprietary software as well as serving as a liaison with any third party software vendors.
In mid 2006, Invesmart was purchased by The Standard. Neil joined a small, cross sectional team which was responsible for the overall integration of the two companies. Neil’s responsibilities were focused on the integration of the recordkeeping systems and the underlying data.
Currently, Neil works as a Senior Analyst for ASRPC. His primary responsibilities revolve around the development of the RFP Analysis product as well as investment analysis. His skills as a former software testing manager allow him to “get under the hood” of potential vendor’s websites and voice response systems. His varied experiences in the retirement industry allow him to quickly and accurately decipher each vendors proposed fee and determine a methodology to allow a comparison of the proposed fees on an apples to apples basis.
Neil earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries through which he has attained the Qualified 401(k) (QKA) designation.

Mr. Butler has more than 18 years of diverse financial analysis experience, ranging from analysis of publicly-traded stocks to valuation of privately-held companies, including venture capital investment.
Mr. Butler has published numerous articles in many of the major U.S. business valuation journals, as well as in a Romanian journal. He has been invited to speak at numerous national, regional, and international business valuation conferences.
Mr. Butler holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the United States Naval Academy and has earned an MBA in finance from San Diego State University. Peter is a four-term president of the CFA Society of Idaho and recently completed an assignment as an Adjunct Professor of Finance in the MBA Program at George Fox University.
Mr. Butler is responsible for assisting with the development of investment policies and corresponding analysis of retirement plan clients’ investment portfolios. Utilizing a variety of investment tools, Mr. Butler coordinates the research and determination of whether investments are meeting the guidelines outlined by our client’s investment policy statement.
Rick brings a strong skill set to our Little Rock office having 14 years of experience as a registered financial advisor. He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville for both his undergraduate degree and law school. As a Series 7 and Series 66 registered advisor, his main areas of focus within the company are IRAs, retirement plans, and individual wealth management. Rick likes to spend time with family and friends, volunteer at church and local non-profit organizations, and enjoys biking, snow skiing and traveling when he can.

Sergio has been in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years and has extensive experience in managing retirement plans for corporations and non-profits. He serves Pensionmark’s New York Metro area clients in all aspects of plan administration, including:
- Plan design consulting – keeping clients up to date on the legislative environment, and reviewing plan design provisions to help ensure that the plan still meets their needs.
- Plan provider selection – assisting clients in reviewing the administrative services offered by their plan provider, and determining if costs are reasonable relative to the marketplace.
- Fiduciary education – working with plan fiduciaries to make sure they understand their responsibilities and liabilities relating to their retirement plan.
- Investment option selection and monitoring – assisting with the initial design of the investment lineup, and the ongoing monitoring of those options.
- Employee education – working with the retirement plan provider to create an education plan to help meet each company’s specific needs.
- Ongoing support – working with clients to correct any operational deficiencies, including late contributions, late Form 5500 filings, untimely ADP/ACP refunds, and plan operation inconsistent with the plan document.
Prior to joining the Metro New York office, Sergio managed corporate and non-profit retirement plans at MGI Retirement Advisors for more than 11 years, serving more than 50 clients with over $200 million in assets under advisement. He also worked in individual wealth management with UBS-AG and Middlegate Securities.
Sergio is a lifelong New York City resident and lives in Astoria, Queens. He actively participates in short-distance triathlons and has completed several half-Ironman distance races.

Stacy Heistand has over 20 years of experience working in the retirement plan marketplace. He began his career on the administration and recordkeeping side of the business as an administrator for Merrill Lynch. Stacy joined Alliance Benefit Group (ABG) in 1998 as an administrator. Shortly thereafter, Stacy became an Account Representative in ABG’s client service department. Stacy was responsible for retirement plan investment advisory services, new business conversions, employee education/enrollment meetings, plan design recommendations, and other day-to-day servicing issues. In 2002, Stacy became manager of the client services department heading a team of investment consultants that was responsible for over 350 plans with total investments of $1 billion in assets.
In 2004 Stacy joined Union National Community Bank, a small community based bank in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Stacy was assigned the task of developing and building a retirement plan services program for the bank’s trust department. Over the course of the next three years, Stacy successfully developed a book of small retirement plan business while serving as the as the primary consultant for all of the bank’s retirement plan customers.
Stacy joined Asset Strategy in 2007 as a Senior Consultant. Stacy provides investment advisory services to clients and consults on other retirement plan issues including plan design, administration, fiduciary liability, and fees. He also provides clients with analysis on vendor Request for Proposal studies. Additionally, Stacy has co-authored a study with Clark Frese on the implementation of guaranteed minimum withdrawal products into 401(k) plans and continues to advise clients on product design in the retirement plan marketplace.
Stacy earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University at Harrisburg. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries through which he has attained the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) designations. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation.
In his spare time, Stacy enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Stacy is active in his community’s youth sports programs and cub scouts. With over 21 years of experience in the financial services industry, Stephan is the Director of Investments for the Pensionmark Los Angeles office. Stephan has an expertise in establishing comprehensive fiduciary governance protocols, investment fund selection processes, investment fund monitoring, reporting procedures, and education for Pensionmark Los Angeles’s 401(k) clients covering nearly $700 million and over 11,000 participants. Stephan also brings a wealth of expertise in creating comprehensive investment fund selection screening processes and ongoing fund review protocols.
Stephan has served as the Retirement Plan Investing expert for CFA Los Angeles since 2009. He has also served as an ASPPA Technical Education Consultant from 2007-2009. While working at kPlans, Stephan served as an ASPPA Technical Education Consultant from 2007-2009 managing the QPFC exam and helped build and edit the Investment Module for ASPPA’s flagship CPC credential. Prior to joining KPlans in April 2006, Stephan worked at both Bank of America and City National’s Private Banks providing investment consulting and asset allocation modeling for ultra-high net worth clients. During that period, he managed $300 million in Private Bank client assets.
Outside the workplace, Stephan has over 30 television appearances on KCAL-9 CBS Sunday News covering a broad range of financial planning topics. Stephan graduated from UCLA with a BS in Biochemistry. He served as President and Co-President of R. D. White Elementary School Foundation for two years and 3rd Vice President Fundraising for Wilson Middle School PTSA for the last two years. He has coached 15 seasons for youth basketball and is currently helping to coach a local track team and is a proud father of his daughter Tiffany.

Stephanie R. Reese joined Tutton Insurance Services in March of 2009 but has been in the financial and insurance industry for over fifteen years. She began her career as an intern at Merrill Lynch, assisting the firm with stock market research and investment analysis. After receiving her B.A. in Economics from Scripps College, she accepted a position as an associate with John Hancock where she assisted individuals and small businesses with their life insurance and investment needs. Stephanie holds the honor of being the only female associate to finish in the Top 10 in her group in 2006. Also in 2006, she was awarded the John Hancock Spirit Award and, in 2008, she was named the Southern California Johnson Agency’s Production Leader in Long Term Care Insurance. In her eight year career with Tutton Insurance Services, she has been nominated six times for Employee of the Year, receiving the honor in 2010. In 2016, she was nominated as a Top Woman Advisor by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA).
Stephanie is a frequent guest lecturer at Scripps College—speaking at both the Economics Senior Seminar and Personal Finance classes regarding financial planning and retirement. Taylor advises plan sponsors in the development and management of their retirement plans to help align the goals of the organization with the design and operation of their plans. He helps employers manage their fiduciary obligations to participants with concentrated focus on efficient plan design, regular plan and investment monitoring and analysis, fiduciary services and education for plan sponsors and their employees. Taylor is well-known as a valuable resource for his clients and employees alike, educating and advising plan participants to help them to achieve a successful retirement on their own terms.
Taylor joined the Pensionmark Austin team in 2014, after three years with AXA Advisors as a Registered Representative. In this capacity, he sold and managed 403(b) retirement plans in the educational sector.
Taylor graduated from Texas Christian University's Neeley School of Business in Fort Worth, Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, and minors in Accounting and Economics. Art is director of investment consulting services with the Hooker & Holcombe investment advisory group. He provides investment consulting and asset management services for public and private institutional clients, working closely with each client to identify and set goals, develop custom strategies and implement specific plans. Art specializes in monitoring and reviewing investment results, and recommending strategic and tactical adjustments as appropriate. His expertise in providing investment and financial advice has allowed him to develop and refine his systematic consulting approach to fulfill the needs of each specific client.

Mr. Rice is responsible for recruiting independent retirement advisors to partner with Pensionmark in the Advisor Support Program. Mr. Rice's career includes professional experience in the technology industry and more than 25 years in the financial services industry. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.
Mr. Rice is involved in several local and national non-profit and charitable organizations. He has provided business training to new business start ups in Central Asia. He supports the Free Wheelchair Mission by traveling to several countries throughout the world to distribute free wheelchairs to the poor and disabled. Mr. Rice graduated from California State University in Fullerton and resides in Santa Barbara.
Director, Banking Relations
Bille brings over 20 years’ extensive experience and management skills in the financial and retirement industry. She joined the Pensionmark team in October 2017 and currently serves as Director of Banking Relations. In this role Bille is responsible on-boarding and project management of large advisory relationships, system management, assisting on investment due diligence reporting and advisory relationship development.
Prior to joining Pensionmark Bille served as Vice President of Operations at Aspire Financial Services, an independent recordkeeper, overseeing all Operation Divisions and Client Service Center. While there she was instrumental bringing process optimization to the back-office functional areas as well as played a key role in their platform development and migration.
Bille also formally served in several management roles at Raymond James Financial as the New Account Retirement Plan and Call Center Services Manager, she also worked for a subsidiary company of Raymond James, Eagle Asset Management. As the manager of Institution Accounts she was responsible for managing reconciliation of all fixed and equity accounts consisting of over $10 billion in assets.
Bille is a member of the Women’s in Pension Network, ASSPA and Toastmasters International. She enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family.
As Managing Director, Chris is responsible for the strategic distribution of Pensionmark’s growing list of proprietary products and key service offerings, including aggregate plan solutions, SMARTLIFECYCLE Minimum Volatility Target-Date Funds,and the firm's 3(38) Investment Management services.
Miller brings with him over 15 years of industry experience. He most recently spent over 5 years as a Regional Vice President of Transamerica, strategizing with advisors in Southern California on how to grow their practice. Prior to Transamerica, Miller worked at The Hartford and Merrill Lynch and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Indian University of Pennsylvania.

Christopher Schneeman serves as President of SevenHills Benefit Partners, an independent agency with St Paul area roots tracing back over 80 years. SevenHills assists approximately 220 employers purchase and manage a full range of employee benefit programs with advice and support systems, as well as helping thousands of individual policyholders navigate their insurance options.
Qualified retirement plans have an integral part of SevenHills service since 1984. Schneeman has a keen sense of the special care employers need to properly manage the plan and protect participants, and to encourage understanding and participation by eligible employees.
Schneeman holds designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU). Cristina E. Georgescu-Hansen

Mrs. Hansen graduated from Boise State University, where she received a Bachelor degree in International Business with a minor in Finance. Mrs. Hansen moved from Romania to the United States to pursue her college education. While attending BSU, she worked as a Sales and Marketing Intern for State Farm Insurance and as an Energy Efficient Promoter/Intern for Idaho Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) in the Energy Efficiency Program. Upon graduation, Mrs. Hansen attained a six months internship in Singapore where she worked for Baxter BioScience as a Human Resource Intern.
Mrs. Hansen joined Pensionmark in January 2013 as a Client Relationship Manager. Her responsibilities include processing new business for clients, providing support with plan administrations, assisting with plan compliance, and new plan installation and conversions. Devyn has excelled in her role as Vice President of Client Relations and has helped in Pensionmark's rapid expansion since joining the team in 2006. Since 2008, Pensionmark has grown from two locations to a national presence with over 25 locations nationwide. Additionally, she specializes in compliance/risk management policies, and has traveled across the nation speaking to clients, participants, and industry professionals about various retirement plan topics. Jaimie currently handles the day to day business operations of RedStone Advisors. She attended BYU-Idaho formerly known as Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. After moving to Utah, Jaimie worked in the dental field with several dental practices where she managed many aspects of practice operations such as billing, scheduling, and accounts receivable. Jaimie and her husband have four little girls: Cortlyn, Jordyn, Morgan and Madisyn, who keep them very busy. Jaimie enjoys photography, crafts, being in the outdoors, yard work, reading, cooking, and participating in memorable activities with her family.
Branch Operations Manager
Ms. Walker joined the Pensionmark San Francisco office in 2015, bringing over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry to the team. With a background in Client Services, ensuring a positive client experience is one of her top priorities.
As the Branch Operations Manager she attends to all facets of day to day operations. In addition, Ms. Walker performs reviews of the plans’ fund lineups and assists with preparation for Plan reviews and Employee Education meetings.
Jani resides in Petaluma with her husband Craig and daughter Nicole, as well as two dogs Reno and Roxy. Her son Charlie attends college in Maryland. She has volunteered for several local non-profit organizations, and likes to spend her spare time reading, watching her children play lacrosse, and enjoying California’s beautiful wine country.
Ms. Walker graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She currently holds her Series 7 and is pursuing Series 66 registration.
With 16 years of experience in client services, Jessica brought her experience to our team in 2017. She is currently attending Arkansas Tech University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Marketing. She comes to us with a background in banking and finance, and focuses primarily on operations and administrative support. Away from work, Jessica enjoys being mom to an active 3-year-old and traveling.
Jill has almost 20 years of experience in the Investment and financial Services industry. Her role is mainly to work with our advisors and their clients with all aspects of their relationship from opening and transferring accounts, to addressing all client requests for outgoing distributions and resolving client needs and questions. She currently maintains the following security registrations: 6,7, 24, 51 and 63.
She is also essential in preparing quarterly investment and fiduciary reports for retirement plan clients as well as individual investors and assures proper correspondence between our office and our clients.
She works with our corporate compliance office to assure the Advisors are adhering to compliance guidelines as well as are properly licensed for the various investments and insurances that are sold to clients of the firm.
When not working, Jill enjoys spending time with her family, especially her first grandchild, Jameson. She is actively involved with her church teaching weekly youth group for three to five year olds. She can often be found out antiquing unless there is a Pittsburgh Steeler or Penguin game going on and you can bet she will be watching the game.
Director, Information Services
Mr. Giles has been working with Pensionmark since 2015, first as a consultant and then joining the company full-time in July 2016.
He has extensive technical experience with Business, Financial and CRM Systems, having developed a wide range of applications since the 1980s to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of operations from the executive level through to finance, marketing, sales and service departments. He brings that expertise and a consultative approach to problem-solving to Pensionmark.
Previously Mr. Giles served for 12 years as Senior Systems Analyst with ABC-CLIO, a Santa Barbara area educational publisher, having been responsible for the smooth and continued operation of the primary Business System, Salesforce CRM and M/S Dynamics financial applications, having developed custom programs in Excel and Access for the Human Resources, Executive, Financial, Sales, Marketing and Service stakeholders. John is vice president and director of operations with the Hooker & Holcombe investment advisory group. He is responsible for client accounting and reporting, investment technology and investment research. He serves as the firm’s chief compliance officer and is a member of the group’s Investment Committee. John's in-depth retirement plan background complements his investment advisory role. In addition, as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), John is available to assist plan sponsors in understanding and implementing sound fiduciary standards and practices into their retirement programs.
John began his career at Travelers Insurance Company in 1987. He joined Hooker & Holcombe in 1989 as a pension analyst. In this role, he worked with a wide variety of clients including sponsors of corporate, municipal and church plans, serving as the lead analyst for some of the firm’s largest clients. He has been involved with the investment advisory group’s operations in varying capacities since its inception in 1996. He fills an integral role in designing internal processes and implementing relationships with affiliated service providers. John's extensive experience covers a wide range of retirement related issues such as defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, non-qualified plans and post-retirement welfare plans. John's expertise includes financial accounting standards, cost accounting standards and asset liability modeling.

Jonathan graduated from California State University Fullerton, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Finance. He then went on to complete the Retirement Plan Fundamentals course through the ASPPA, which demonstrates proficiency of retirement plan administration, design, and operation.
Jonathan began his career in financial services over six years ago and has worked directly with retirement plan clients, providing benefit plan governance and administrative support, ensuring Plan Sponsor compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) best practices, and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) mandates.

Rodger is president and chief investment officer of the Hooker & Holcombe investment advisory group and chairman of the board of Hooker & Holcombe. In his current position, Rodger leads the team of professionals who furnish advisory services. He is also the client relationship consultant for the advisory group’s largest and most sophisticated clients, is responsible for directing the group’s asset allocation and fund research efforts, and is the chairman of the Investment Committee. Rodger’s investment and institutional money management expertise brings an increased sophistication to the fund selection and monitoring process.
Prior to joining the firm, Rodger was with Hartford Investment Management Company, a subsidiary of Hartford Financial Services Corporation (HIG), where he was vice president and equity portfolio manager.

Mr. King recently was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps after serving for 8 years. During his period of service, he worked as an Infantry Assaultman and later went on to operate in a Surveillance and Target Acquisition platoon as well as in a Force Reconnaissance company.

Brian is operations manager with the Hooker & Holcombe investment advisory group. He has over 5 years of experience in financial management operations and will be involved in the group’s daily operations including new account set up, trading and rebalancing client accounts, database maintenance, plan analysis and a variety of special projects, including compliance.
Before joining the firm, Brian was with Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James. There he served in a relationship manager capacity, responsible for rebalancing portfolios, analyzing manager research, and handling all client inquiries. Kyle joined the Pensionmark team in 2014, and currently serves as an Advisor Relations Manager. In this position, he focuses on supporting the network of advisors from their initial introduction to the Pensionmark and throughout their affiliation. Kyle’s scope of work includes onboarding new advisor affiliates, conducting Pensionmark infrastructure training to new and current advisors, managing the internal Sales Desk, assisting in investment due diligence reporting, and providing excellent relationship management skills to the network of advisors.

As Manager, Advisor Relations, Lisa’s role will support new advisors transitioning to the firm both before and after their affiliation, as well as serving as a secondary resource to Pensionmark’s existing offices. Her primary focus will be all aspects of advisor onboarding including licensing and assisting offices with transitioning their books of business. With over seven years’ experience in the financial services industry, Lisa has deep knowledge in both the institutional and wealth management marketspaces, having previously worked for a retirement plan recordkeeper, Aspire Financial Services, as well as a national wealth management and retirement plan consulting firm, Independent Financial Partners. At Aspire Financial Services, Lisa’s role as the Transfers Team Lead involved moving substantial assets between recordkeepers and custodians, and her prior role as Transitions Manager at Independent Financial Partners helped her to prepare for a similar role at Pensionmark.
In addition to her financial services industry experience, Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland, but has made her home in Florida for the last ten years. Nancy Ulloa graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Feminist Studies, and Spanish. Associate, Client Operations
Jack initially joined the Pensionmark team in April of 2017, as an associate on the Lead Generation Team. After graduating from college in 2018, Jack joined the Pensionmark Team as a full-time member of both the ASP and Participant Support Teams. In this position, he focuses on supporting the network of advisors from their initial introduction to Pensionmark and throughout their affiliation, as well as supporting clients and their participants. Jack’s scope of work includes onboarding new advisor affiliates, conducting Pensionmark infrastructure training to new and current advisors, assisting with the Internal Sales Desk, and providing operational support to the network of advisors, clients and participants.
Jack graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in June 2018, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting with a certificate from the Technology Management Program. Jack currently holds his Series 65 registration.
