Pensionmark Advisor, Shannon Main, Nominated as President of the Western Pension & Benefits Council Orange County Chapter

Aliso Viejo, CA –The Western Pension & Benefits Council (WP&BC) Orange County Chapter, has nominated Shannon Main as their President to serve a 2-year term after having served as President-Elect.

As President, Main will preside over all meetings of the members and directors and serve as the general manager of corporate affairs. Main will also represent the Orange County Chapter and report state of affairs to the Western Pension & Benefits Council Governing Board. The WP&BC Orange County Chapter is one of 10 chapters in the western United States focused on addressing the educational needs of benefits specialists by promoting an exchange of information and ideas among its members. Today, WP&BC is recognized as the premier educational and professional organization in the western United States for the dynamic field of employee benefits.

“I have met so many amazing people in our industry and always look forward to attending our monthly Programs,” said Main. “It is a great organization for Plan Sponsors and Financial Professionals, whether seasoned veterans or new to the industry, to learn about workplace retirement plans through the lens of a Third Party Administrator, Auditor, Recordkeeper, Attorney and Advisor. I am honored to be part of the organization and serve as President of the Orange County Chapter.”

Main is a Managing Director at Pensionmark and has over 25 years of industry experience working exclusively with corporate retirement plan sponsors and employees. She has been a member of the WP&BC Orange County Chapter for over 10 years and has served on the Board of Directors for the last 5 years.
