Pensionmark is pleased to welcome the San Ramon, CA-based firm to its Advisor Support Program. Barbara Sourjohn and John C. Kim combined their strengths in retirement plan consulting and wealth management in 2010 and have successfully grown their practice to a team of 11 professionals.
The Sourjohn-Kim team joins Pensionmark for its deep experience and resources in retirement plans, recognizing that technology and streamlined processes are vital to client success and the long-term sustainability of their practice.
“Pensionmark’s back-office support, leading-edge technology, and industry-specific tools enable us to service our plan sponsors and their employees better than ever,” stated Barbara Sourjohn “Pensionmark is centered in the group retirement plan space and understands our business. This was important for us when exploring partners.”
Sourjohn-Kim and Pensionmark take a holistic approach to meet the financial service needs of plan sponsors, wealth management clients, and retirement plan participants. Both firms understand that the same strategy does not fit every client.
“Realizing that everyone has unique challenges and learns in different ways has allowed us to be proactive advisors and provide meaningful and purpose-driven service to our clients,” quotes Senior Vice President, Client Services Taylor Stone. “We are excited to partner with Sourjohn-Kim, who also puts the client experience at the forefront of everything they do.”
