Michael Woods joined Pensionmark Financial Group, LLC in 2009 bringing with him experience on both the plan provider side, as one of the top wholesalers for ING Retirement Solutions, and as a plan advisor. He currently acts as the Executive Vice President, OSJ Branch Manager, and Co-Owner of the organization with a focus on developing retirement plan solutions for our corporate clients as well as our national network of advisors. Jennifer Tanck, JD
Executive Vice President
Jennifer currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Pensionmark Financial Group, focusing on building out the firm's compliance program and operations, as well as partnering with Pensionmark's affiliate advisors to deliver infrastructure and support services.
Prior to joining Pensionmark, Jennifer served as the Senior Vice President of Client Service Delivery for Aspire Financial Services, an independent recordkeeper, overseeing all of Aspire's Client Service and Operations divisions. While there she was instrumental in implementing a more cohesive client engagement model, using a single-threaded service approach designed to provide a world class client experience in the open-architecture retirement space.
Jennifer also formerly served as President and Chief Compliance Officer of Independent Financial Partners, LPL Financial's largest hybrid RIA firm. She helped to grow the firm's comprehensive network of advisors and retirement and wealth management services, and held several key leadership positions during her tenure there in both Operations and Compliance capacities. Prior to joining IFP, Jennifer served as a registered representative and OSJ Manager for another broker/dealer, and has extensive experience in both Big Four accounting and law firm settings where she has focused on securities, business and tax law.
Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida and graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University College of Law. She is a member of the Florida Bar and various civic and professional organizations and was a finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal's 2012 Tampa Bay Business Woman of the Year.

Mrs. Battle joined the Pensionmark team in 2000, bringing with her experience in the financial services industry. She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics and Spanish.
Mrs. Battle currently holds her Series 6 and 63 registrations along with her California insurance license. Mrs. Battle provides retirement plan advisory services to corporate fiduciaries. Laura assists businesses and their employees with structuring efficient 401(k) plans, measuring and monitoring fiduciary liability and providing education tools for participants.
Mrs. Battle is also responsible for advancing Pensionmark’s HR strategy in support of the company’s leadership and growth objectives. In addition, Laura overseas corporate operations, the day-to-day management of the customer service team and is the lead conversion manager.
Mrs. Battle is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Santa Barbara Human Resource Association (SBHRA).
Marissa Weisberg brings extensive accounting experience to Pensionmark from a vast range of industries including newspaper, real estate, construction development and the nonprofit sector. She has worked in the finance and accounting field since 2002 and has managed and developed accounting departments and teams since 2008. Currently, Marissa is the Corporate Controller for Pensionmark Financial Group, LLC and is a member of the Executive Team where she has an essential role in the management, expansion and growth of the organization.

Ronnie is the Director of Investments in the Santa Barbara headquarters of Pensionmark. Ronnie is responsible for the investment manager search process, quarterly client reporting and market reviews, developing analytical tools and reports, and other research projects. In addition, Ronnie chairs Pensionmark’s Investment Committee that sets the strategic policy and direction of a number of broad activities related to the investment services Pensionmark provides.

Bob graduated from the University of NY at Albany with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration (1973). He makes lifelong learning a priority and has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations. He is also one of fewer than 80 advisors nationwide to be certified for fiduciary excellence by CEFEX, the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence. He has been advising retirement Plan Sponsors since 1974.
He believes most employees are financially stressed and we can help improve that. He believes in designing retirement plans that are built the way Steve Jobs would build them – designed with the hope of success, long-term, automatic, and with minimal participation decision, unless they’re hacked.
Bob’s personal mission statement is “To make people happy that we met”
Bob is inspired by Jack LaLanne and his achievements. Bob ran a marathon in his 30s, became a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do in his 40s and now that he can’t run or bend so well he lifts weights in his 60s. Bob’s weight lifting goal for 2016 is to bench press 400 lbs 20 times. Most of all Bob loves spending time with Audrey, his wife of 42 years and his two sons, David and Jay.
Bob heads Pensionmark’s Metro New York office, and is primarily responsible for the development and oversight of its institutional consulting business for corporate, tax exempt, and governmental retirement plans.

Prior to founding the Metro New York office in 2016, Bob ran the Principal Financial Group’s largest retirement sales and service office in New York City for many years. Bob supervised its team of 15 highly trained professionals, personally working with plan sponsors and retirement plans of all sizes and complexities, and responsible for annual goals exceeding 500 plans and $1.2 billion in corporate and tax-exempt retirement plan assets.
Bob lives in Basking Ridge, New Jersey with his wife, Leslie, and children Ryan, Connor, Katie, and Colin. His passions include coaching football and baseball at the youth level and spending time at Long Beach Island with his family. Bob is a former board member of the Worldwide Children’s Foundation and current trustee of Chuck’s 15 Yard Foundation, assisting a local family in financial difficulty.
Bob “Booker” Moore is a leading expert in the field of employee benefits plan design. His unique solutions to balancing the interests of employers and employees in employee benefits have helped clients create competitive and cost-effective plans while, at the same time, addressing the health, welfare and retirement needs of employees and their families. His engaging presentation style and timely subject matter make Booker a frequent participant in various state Banker's Associations, LeadingAge PA conferences, United Benefits Advisors meetings and local Human Resource conferences as well as providing materials for industry publications.
He is a 1981 graduate of Penn State University and earned the CEBS designation from the International Foundation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists and the Wharton School of Business in 1995. In addition, Booker is a qualifying and life member of MDRT, and holds memberships in NAHU. He has had more than 30 years of experience in the employee benefits field as a plan design specialist, educator, and plan administrator.
Booker is in love with his wife Janet and his two kids Megan and Bradley, and nuts for his two puppies Bailey and Izzie. He has learned much in his life from his parents, Bible, Penn State University, MDRT and Charlie H. Flowers of Marshall, Texas. Booker also enjoys spending free time fishing and running at a rather slow pace.

Daniel Shapiro is committed to helping provide the right retirement plan, the right way to businesses and professionals. Having spent over a dozen years representing a large multi-national insurance company's retirement plan services division, Dan recognized that micro and small plan employers have traditionally been underserved. The goal in establishing his retirement consulting practice was to bring 'large plan services' to the micro and small plan marketplace.

After receiving a marketing degree from Iowa State University in 1997, Dennis began his career with Principal Financial Group as an Assistant Group and Pension Manager. He accepted the position of Regional Manager with Transamerica Retirement Services in 2001. Dennis started Griggs Retirement Plan Services in 2006 and provided qualified retirement plan consulting services to over 50 employers. He merged his practice with Kainos Partners in January 2011 and continues focus on qualified plans.
Edwin R. Boyer

Ed is head of Asset Strategy Consultant’s Pittsburgh Office and also consults out of the Hunt Valley (Baltimore) Office as well. He brings over two decades of experience in investment consulting and is a nationally recognized author and expert on client/investment manager relationships. He has been an industry panelist for many Alternative Investment Conferences.
After graduating from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Ed went into the securities business with Dean Witter in San Francisco. Ed joined Asset Strategy Consultants in 1992 and has presented seminars on fiduciary and investment management topics sponsored in conjunction with prominent law firms in the Greater Baltimore area. He specializes in evaluating investment management organizations and the risks associated with various structures. Ed has particular expertise in the area of Alternative Investments, such as Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, Natural Resources, etc.
Ed has completed Level I of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and attended Callan College for fiduciary training.
Eric began his career 1998. He is committed to helping his clients through the Kainos Partners proprietary consulting process, the ROI Experience©. This allows him to provide strategies to a client’s problems, and not to sell specific products.
Eric, his wife, Lisa, and their two daughters, Allie and Riley have lived in the Spring/Woodlands area since 1998. Their daughters play softball and train in gymnastics. Eric spends much of his time off coaching his daughter’s softball team. He also enjoys playing golf, hunting, fishing, and rooting for the Houston Texans and Houston Astros.
Eric A. Ward is a Managing Director at Pensionmark’s Louisville, Kentucky location, and is the owner of Quantum Financial Consultants, LLC. Eric offers over 27 years of expertise in the retirement industry and provides 401(k), investment advisory and wealth management services for individuals. He specializes in assisting companies and organizations with plan provider analysis, plan design, investment selection, and fiduciary liability management. With a focus on client development and portfolio management, Jim is one of the founding partners at Pensionmark’s WealthPath Investment Advisors office. A native to the Northwest Arkansas region, he graduated from Northeastern State University with Bachelors Degree in Finance and Marketing. She spent several years as an Associate Research Analyst for Alex. Brown. Sara’s area of research specialization was in following both hardware and software companies for the firm. She then spent nearly fifteen years as a Partner and Senior Trader in the Over-the-Counter department of the Equity Division.

Tuyen (Twin) Pham’s insurance and financial services career began with First American in 1989 where he started in the mailroom, working as a file clerk and runner, and even washing company cars for executives.
After receiving his B.S. from Arizona State University and a MBA from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), Tuyen accepted a position with MetLife as a Group Sales Rep. He has attended The Endowment Institute at Harvard Business School.

Christopher Schneeman serves as President of SevenHills Benefit Partners, an independent agency with St Paul area roots tracing back over 80 years. Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Glen has spent his entire professional career of over 20 years working with both individuals and business owners and trustees developing strategies to help address their financial goals.
Glen works with and advises individuals on retirement, investment, and estate planning. Neil Moody has over 20 years of experience working in the retirement plan marketplace. He began his career working as a plan administrator for Alliance Benefit Group. He was responsible for the day-to-day servicing and annual compliance of defined contribution plans with assets ranging from $1 - $25 million.
In 2002, after Alliance Benefit Group was purchased by Invesmart, Neil became manager of the Operations department leading a team of 20 employees that were responsible for over 350 plans and $1 billion in assets.
In 2005, Neil became manager of the Software Testing department at Invesmart. He was responsible for managing the testing process of all proprietary software as well as serving as a liaison with any third party software vendors.
In mid 2006, Invesmart was purchased by The Standard. Neil joined a small, cross sectional team which was responsible for the overall integration of the two companies. Neil’s responsibilities were focused on the integration of the recordkeeping systems and the underlying data.
Currently, Neil works as a Senior Analyst for ASRPC. His primary responsibilities revolve around the development of the RFP Analysis product as well as investment analysis. His skills as a former software testing manager allow him to “get under the hood” of potential vendor’s websites and voice response systems. His varied experiences in the retirement industry allow him to quickly and accurately decipher each vendors proposed fee and determine a methodology to allow a comparison of the proposed fees on an apples to apples basis.

Stacy joined Asset Strategy in 2007 as a Senior Consultant. He also provides clients with analysis on vendor Request for Proposal studies. Stephanie R. Reese joined Tutton Insurance Services in March of 2009 but has been in the financial and insurance industry for over fifteen years. After receiving her B.A. in Economics from Scripps College, she accepted a position as an associate with John Hancock where she assisted individuals and small businesses with their life insurance and investment needs. Stephanie holds the honor of being the only female associate to finish in the Top 10 in her group in 2006. Also in 2006, she was awarded the John Hancock Spirit Award and, in 2008, she was named the Southern California Johnson Agency’s Production Leader in Long Term Care Insurance. Tom joined L.R. Webber Associates, Inc. on August 1, 2011. He is responsible for Preparing Participants and Protecting Fiduciaries – this entails properly educating plan sponsors on the responsibilities mandated upon them by ERISA, providing the appropriate framework and information to have diligent conversations that lead to prudent decisions that are in the best interests of the participants. Mr. Rice is responsible for recruiting independent retirement advisors to partner with Pensionmark in the Advisor Support Program. Mr. Rice's career includes professional experience in the technology industry and more than 25 years in the financial services industry. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.
Mr. Rice is involved in several local and national non-profit and charitable organizations. He has provided business training to new business start ups in Central Asia. He supports the Free Wheelchair Mission by traveling to several countries throughout the world to distribute free wheelchairs to the poor and disabled. Mr. Rice graduated from California State University in Fullerton and resides in Santa Barbara.
Brandy Y. Aylward

Brandy handles the day to day operations of the Hogan Financial Group and specializes in maintaining and managing client communication and relationships. She supports and services both the Wealth Management Clients and Qualified Plan Participants.
Brandy has worked in human resources and operations for over six years in both the dental and medical fields. Prior to joining the Hogan Financial Group, she was in the corporate office of Hawaii Family Dental where she supported and serviced over 200 employees. Brandy was also previously a teacher in the Department of Education for the State of Hawaii for eight years.
Client Relations and Education Specialist
Brittney is the Client Relations and Education Specialist at Rogers Financial a Pensionmark Firm, in the Washington D.C. area. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Brittney worked as a brokerage associate in the retail sector before joining Rogers Financial in 2014. Assisting with both operations and participant education, Brittney is passionate about helping plan sponsors provide participants with tools to help them prepare for better retirement. Brittney holds her Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations. In her free time, Brittney enjoys gardening, reading and traveling with her husband.
Christine Fisher oversees the operations of Mark Scalera’s 401(k) and corporate benefits practice. Christine works with the 401(k) platform and third party administrator to maintain up-to-date fiduciary binders with each client’s plan document, adoption agreement, summary plan description, investment policy statement, fidelity bond coverage, discrimination testing results, and other key information. While attending Investment Committee Meetings with Mark and the plan trustees, she records detailed minutes for distribution and review afterwards. She runs quarterly fund analysis reports as well as periodic plan benchmarking reports to ensure that the plan’s funds are performing well and that the overall plan costs remain reasonable. Christine also supports employee education and engagement by facilitating e-mail and other communication campaigns. In addition, she manages the annual renewal process and acts as the main service contact for group insurance clients. She has ten years of experience in administrative and customer service roles, five of those in the financial services industry. She holds her licenses for Health and Life Insurance and received her B.A. in Political Science from Middlebury College.

Mrs. Hansen graduated from Boise State University, where she received a Bachelor degree in International Business with a minor in Finance. Mrs. Hansen moved from Romania to the United States to pursue her college education. While attending BSU, she worked as a Sales and Marketing Intern for State Farm Insurance and as an Energy Efficient Promoter/Intern for Idaho Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) in the Energy Efficiency Program. Upon graduation, Mrs. Hansen attained a six months internship in Singapore where she worked for Baxter BioScience as a Human Resource Intern.
Mrs. Hansen joined Pensionmark in January 2013 as a Client Relationship Manager. As the Branch Operations Manager she attends to all facets of day to day operations. In addition, Ms. Walker performs reviews of the plans’ fund lineups and assists with preparation for Plan reviews and Employee Education meetings.
Jani resides in Petaluma with her husband Craig and daughter Nicole, as well as two dogs Reno and Roxy. Her son Charlie attends college in Maryland. She has volunteered for several local non-profit organizations, and likes to spend her spare time reading, watching her children play lacrosse, and enjoying California’s beautiful wine country.
Ms. Walker graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She currently holds her Series 7 and is pursuing Series 66 registration.
Managing Director of Client Relations

Jenifer is the Managing Director of Client Relations of Rogers Financial Group, a Pensionmark firm in the Washington D.C. area. Jenifer oversees the recordkeeping, compliance, and administration of plans and serves as the plan conversion coordinator during any vendor and/or fund conversions. Jenifer has been with Rogers Financial since 2003 and has worked in the financial industry for over 17 years. Jenifer is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary and a Registered Investment Advisor Representative. She has also successfully passed the FINRA Series 6, 63, and 7 examinations along with her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) and Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans.
With 16 years of experience in client services, Jessica brought her experience to our team in 2017. She is currently attending Arkansas Tech University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Marketing. She comes to us with a background in banking and finance, and focuses primarily on operations and administrative support. Away from work, Jessica enjoys being mom to an active 3-year-old and traveling.
Jill has almost 20 years of experience in the Investment and financial Services industry. Her role is mainly to work with our advisors and their clients with all aspects of their relationship from opening and transferring accounts, to addressing all client requests for outgoing distributions and resolving client needs and questions. She currently maintains the following security registrations: 6,7, 24, 51 and 63.
She is also essential in preparing quarterly investment and fiduciary reports for retirement plan clients as well as individual investors and assures proper correspondence between our office and our clients.
She works with our corporate compliance office to assure the Advisors are adhering to compliance guidelines as well as are properly licensed for the various investments and insurances that are sold to clients of the firm.
When not working, Jill enjoys spending time with her family, especially her first grandchild, Jameson. She is actively involved with her church teaching weekly youth group for three to five year olds. She can often be found out antiquing unless there is a Pittsburgh Steeler or Penguin game going on and you can bet she will be watching the game.
Director, Information Services
Mr. Giles has been working with Pensionmark since 2015, first as a consultant and then joining the company full-time in July 2016.
He has extensive technical experience with Business, Financial and CRM Systems, having developed a wide range of applications since the 1980s to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of operations from the executive level through to finance, marketing, sales and service departments. He brings that expertise and a consultative approach to problem-solving to Pensionmark.
Previously Mr. Giles served for 12 years as Senior Systems Analyst with ABC-CLIO, a Santa Barbara area educational publisher, having been responsible for the smooth and continued operation of the primary Business System, Salesforce CRM and M/S Dynamics financial applications, having developed custom programs in Excel and Access for the Human Resources, Executive, Financial, Sales, Marketing and Service stakeholders. He also served as Product Manager and Systems Analyst for the Seymour Duncan company, a local designer and manufacturer of musical equipment, and for 7 years prior to ABC-CLIO Mr. Giles was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Lanspeed Systems, a Santa Barbara-based systems integrator, where he combined his technical, sales, service and management ability to facilitate and streamline the sales and service teams, helping to triple revenues during his tenure.
Jimmy the Jackhammer enjoys spending time with friends and family, ground-pounding the beach and local trails, reading, writing, recording and playing music with his two rock bands and is an instrument-rated private pilot.
Assistant Operations Manager
With 39 years of experience in administrative management roles, Joy brought her expertise to our team in 2014. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S.E in Human Resources and a M.Ed. in Workforce Development. She has been a Certified Administrative Professional since 1986, and focuses primarily on operations and retirement plan support. Away from work, Joy's hobbies include various crafts and traveling.
Client Service Associate
Lisa is new to our team and is very excited to be here at RedStone. She comes to us with over 30 years of customer service related experience working in the Health Care Industry, Elementary Education, and with other companies. She is an entrepreneur and has owned her own business for many years. She is very familiar with what it takes to offer great customer service. We look forward to having her assist our clients with her genuine, friendly, caring personality and expertise.
Lisa attended Brigham Young University. She is a native of Utah and is a country girl. Her favorite hobby is her family. She enjoys traveling, fast cars, being outdoors, reading good books, movies, delving into history and doing anything creative.
Director of Research
Mark is a seasoned financial professional with over 16 years of diverse industry experience. In the last decade he has served employers through various roles including: OSJ Manger, Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Risk Officer, Investment Consultant, and most recently as Director of Research. He has a well-rounded background and understands perspectives from both the sales field force and back office operations.
Mark has quality experience with industry broker dealer powerhouses Raymond James, INVEST and LPL Financial as well as hybrid RIA/super OSJ, Independent Financial Partners (IFP). He has also chaired IFP’s Investment Advisory and Advisory Risk Committees and served as a member of INVEST’s Operational Advisory Council.
Mark holds the Series 7, 24, 66, and 51 Registrations, is a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator, and a Level Three Chartered Financial Analyst Candidate. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in 2000. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, fishing, reading, and researching investments.
Client Relationship Manager
Ms. Slusar joined the Bakersfield Pensionmark team in October 2015 and is currently the Client Relationship / Operations Manager. She prides herself in providing individualized attention to all of their client’s needs. Her responsibilities include processing new business, providing support to plan administrators, helping prepare for meetings, and maintaining client files and communications. She graduated from Moorhead State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management. Ms. Slusar has her insurance license and is a notary public. Raised in Warren, Minnesota, Ms. Slusar has one daughter and in her spare time enjoys cooking, traveling and all outdoor activities.
Senior Manager, Sales Strategies
Mr. Doering began his career at Pensionmark in August of 2014. He is responsible for recruiting independent retirement advisors to partner with Pensionmark in the Advisor Support Program. In his role as Senior Manager, he also helps oversee Pensionmark’s Lead Generation Program which prospects corporations and individual investors in need of unbiased retirement plan consulting, financial planning, and investment advice.
Mr. Doering Graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara where he studied Economics and Mathematics. He brings analytical insight and reasoning to the business development team at Pensionmark. Mr. Doering currently holds his Series 7 and Series 66 registrations.
Desiree joined the Pensionmark team in March 2016 as an Operations Assistant where she assists in overseeing day-to-day plan operations by answering participant and plan sponsor account inquiries and requests, organizes Plan Due Diligence and Employee Education meetings, and works closely with Relationship Managers to ensure all other operational needs are met. She prides herself in providing individualized attention to all client needs and objectives.
Desiree graduated from The University of Phoenix, San Antonio with a major in Business Fundamentals. In her free time Desiree enjoys spending time with her husband Aaron and their daughters.
Senior Manager, Business Development
Mr. Salafian’s extensive background in sales, new business development, project management, finance, and recruiting has further developed his ability to create and sustain new businesses and new business divisions, including the founding of the Business Development Division and Lead Generation Program at Pensionmark.
Mr. Salafian graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting along with the Technology Management Program certification. He completed his MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at Pepperdine University and currently maintains Life and Health Insurance licenses.
Leading the Business Development Division, Mr. Salafian is responsible for overseeing the Lead Generation Program and Sales Marketing Communications for Plan Sponsor and Advisory Prospects. He focuses on furthering the development of the division through new innovative processes and recruitment while acquiring top advisors in the nation to partner with Pensionmark.
Cade Johnson is a native of West-Central Texas and has lived in the Texas hill country for five years. Cade prides himself on being disciplined, hard-working and putting others first - all characteristics he attributes to playing sports throughout his collegiate career. His passion for helping others and appreciation of their hard work has led him to the financial services industry where he hopes to improve the quality of retirement for participants and clients alike. Cade received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas State University. In his spare time, Cade enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and golf.
Client Manager, Advisor Relations
Mr. Vela joined the Pensionmark team in October 2013 and is part of the Advisor Support Program to which he provides operational support to Pensionmark’s network of advisors. In addition, Mr. Vela oversees the day to day operations of the Financial Wellness Help Center and serves as a Relationship Manager for key group of Pensionmark clients. Mr. Vela currently holds his Series 6 and 63 registrations and is pursuing his series 65.
Mr. Vela graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a double major in Communications and Spanish. While in attendance, Mr. Vela studied abroad in Lyon, France for a semester and was also an active member of the Business Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. After graduating in 2011, he taught English abroad in Madrid, Spain for two years.
Manager, Advisor Relations
Kyle joined the Pensionmark team in 2014, and currently serves as an Advisor Relations Manager. In this position, he focuses on supporting the network of advisors from their initial introduction to the Pensionmark and throughout their affiliation. Kyle’s scope of work includes onboarding new advisor affiliates, conducting Pensionmark infrastructure training to new and current advisors, managing the internal Sales Desk, assisting in investment due diligence reporting, and providing excellent relationship management skills to the network of advisors.
Kyle graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. During his time at UCSB, Kyle, was a part of the Accounting Association and the Finance Connection. Kyle is currently Life and Health Insurance licensed and also holds his Series 6 Securities registration.
Manager, Advisor Relations
As Manager, Advisor Relations, Lisa’s role will support new advisors transitioning to the firm both before and after their affiliation, as well as serving as a secondary resource to Pensionmark’s existing offices. Her primary focus will be all aspects of advisor onboarding including licensing and assisting offices with transitioning their books of business. With over seven years’ experience in the financial services industry, Lisa has deep knowledge in both the institutional and wealth management marketspaces, having previously worked for a retirement plan recordkeeper, Aspire Financial Services, as well as a national wealth management and retirement plan consulting firm, Independent Financial Partners. At Aspire Financial Services, Lisa’s role as the Transfers Team Lead involved moving substantial assets between recordkeepers and custodians, and her prior role as Transitions Manager at Independent Financial Partners helped her to prepare for a similar role at Pensionmark.
In addition to her financial services industry experience, Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland, but has made her home in Florida for the last ten years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family including her two young daughters, as well as going to the beach and weekends at Disney World.
Manager, Marketing Communications
Renata joined the Pensionmark Client Operations team in 2015 and transitioned to her current role a year later where she is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of Pensionmark’s marketing, communications, and public relations strategies, both external and internal. Renata directs campaigns at the strategic and tactical levels and is focused on strengthening Pensionmark’s brand in the financial services industry and bringing innovative approaches to help engage clients and their employees through fiduciary education efforts and the Financial Wellness Program across various platforms.
Renata graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in both Economics and Global & International Studies.
Associate, Client Communications
Mr. Pantoja joined the Pensionmark team in May of 2016. He attended Santa Barbara City College where he studied Environmental Studies. Working in the Operations Department at Pensionmark, Mr. Pantoja brings an extensive expertise in the day-to-day client operations. His bilingual skills have proven to be of great value to the call center. Prior to Pensionsmark, he served as an Administrative Assistant at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders and previously as a Customer Associate at a financial institution. Mr. Pantoja is currently pursuing his Series 7 registration.
Hilario tries living a healthy lifestyle by regularly enjoying the great outdoors Santa Barbara has to offer and engaging in various physical activities. Additionally, he likes to dedicate his spare time to the arts, as well as spending quality time with friends.
Senior Associate, Client Services
Ms. Drewry graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in Economics and Accounting. While in attendance at UCSB, she worked for Pensionmark as an intern and then joined the Pensionmark team full time in July 2014.
As a Senior Associate in Client Services, Ms. Drewry supports advisor Mary Francisco in addition to working on Pensionmark's operations team. She excels in providing clientele exceptional personalized service and manages much of the day to day activities for various types of client accounts. Ms. Drewry is currently pursuing her series 7 registration.
Client Operations Associate
Nancy Ulloa graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Feminist Studies, and Spanish. She joined the Pensionmark team as an intern while still attending UCSB and joined full-time upon completion of her studies. Having international work experience has made Ms. Ulloa an important asset to the Financial Wellness Center due to her superb bilingual skills. As part of the Operations Team, her duties include working on Plan Review Meetings as well as assisting Relationship Managers and other divisions at Pensionmark.
Ms. Ulloa is currently pursuing her Series 7 registration.
Mr. Mora graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting with a minor in Philosophy. While in attendance, Mr. Mora was as a member of the nationally ranked Division I soccer team. He was also part of the Finance Connection and the Investment Advisory Committee.
Mr. Mora joined Pensionmark in 2017 as an Investment Analyst. As part of the investment team, his roles include assisting with fund research as well as analyzing plan lineups. Prior to Pensionmark, he served as Staff Accountant for a privately held company and previously as an Audit Accountant in the public sector. Mr. Mora holds his series 7 registration and is currently pursuing his Series 66 registration.
Mrs. Frausto provides executive assistant functions for Troy Hammond, as well as assisting with multiple aspects of client service delivery.

Senior Associate, Strategies Analysis
Ms. Estrada-Abundis graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics. She joined the Pensionmark team in June 2017 as a Senior Associate in Strategies Analysis. As part of the Strategies Analysis Team, she is responsible for prospecting Plan Sponsors in need of unbiased retirement plan consulting, fiduciary mitigation, cost analysis, and investment advice.
Specializing in operations and project management with over 13 years of professional experience, Heather joined the team in 2016 relocating from Texas to Northwest Arkansas. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in Sociology/Public Administration and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. Prior to joining Pensionmark, Heather worked for several organizations in North Texas including an academic health science center, small business, and a hospital system focusing on project management, grant writing, and research compliance.
